Brighter Communities Worldwide’s annual Mountain Challenge is back and this year we’re heading to the stunning Galtees situated Cork/Limerick and Tipperary on 17 August 2019. Climb Galtymore, Ireland’s largest inland monroe or take a hike around the foothills of the Galtees all in support of our programmes in Kenya.

Please join us, whether it’s a new challenge for you or you’ve done it before. You’ll have experienced, qualified and friendly guides leading you on the day. This year we have two options to choose from:

1. Take the challenge of climbing Galtymore with an altitude of 919 metres, Ireland’s largest inland monroe, straddling two counties 

or

2. Take the low level, looped 12km walk through forestry tracks and open ground in the valleys and foothills of the Galtee Mountains with stunning views of the mountains and surrounding area

The cost to take part is €60 and donations will support rural communities in Kenya to:

• Live healthier lives
• Improve school sanitation
• Keep girls in school
• Fund water schemes
• Gain skills to increase household incomes
