Are you dreaming of volunteering overseas?

30 January 2015

Every year, overseas volunteers travel out to Londiani to support our Kenyan team on the ground.

Volunteering overseas is something so many people think about doing one day, but rarely get around to. They are daunted by the cost, the time it will take and the many options available to them. It’s a big decision and we know it’s not an easy one.

Here at Friends of Londiani, we call our volunteering project ‘Harambee’ – a Swahili word meaning ‘working together’ and this is what our volunteering projects are all about. Harambee provides a short-term volunteer placement for two or three weeks in Kenya along with a training programme to help you prepare for the trip and ensure you get the best out of it.

Don’t take our word for it – listen to what the volunteers themselves have to say. Then drop us an email or call us for a chat and we’ll happily tell you all about what we do. Karibu!
