What next for people who have volunteered overseas?

Comhlamh are organising a course which might be of interest to anyone who has volunteered overseas. ‘What Next?’ is a course for returnees who have lived and worked overseas in the capacity of volunteer or learner, and who are interested to continue engagement in development education from Ireland. The 4-day course will engage participants in a critical process to explore development issues and skills to raise awareness and take action locally. An outcome of the course is that participants will have the opportunity to develop an Action Project either individually or as a group around a particular idea. There are small grants available to develop the action projects. The course will cost €60 per person and the dates are March 1st to 3rd in Tipperary, Saturday April 13th and Saturday June 8th in Dublin.
