Harambee volunteers arrive in Kenya
The group of volunteers taking part in our November Harambee have arrived safely in Kenya. Karibu Sana!
The team is made up of volunteers from Cork, Kilkenny and Wexford in Ireland. During their time in Londiani the volunteers will focus on wilderness first aid training, business course training, maternal health, stove installations and household surveys. They will also experience the trekking route as part of our sustainable tourism project.
The volunteers received a huge welcome on arrival, first being greeted by CEO Martin Ballytyne in Nairobi and then welcomed by the staff team in Londiani. After a celebrationw welcome, the volunteers will begin their orientation before starting the real hard work. We will share their blogs and experiences soon. Karibu Sana!
