blog images/main/Mountain-Challenge-2015Do you want to explore new horizons? Do you want to know that you’re helping change lives of others? Do you want to “Climb for Kenya”? Well, what are you waiting for? Registration is open for the Friends of Londiani Mountain Challenge with places filling up quickly for Carrauntoohil, Croagh Patrick, Slieve Donard and Lugnaquilla.

In August 2014, 26 enthusiastic, energetic people stood at the top of Carrauntoohil, joining fellow walkers on top of the Lugnaquilla, Slieve Donard and Mweelrea; all four provinces in Ireland that are connected by a love of walking and a desire to support communities in Londiani to create better futures for themselves and their families.

This year, the Mountain Challenge will be taking place on August 22nd, with Kenyan volunteers walking the Friends of Londiani Sustainable Trekking route in solidarity with the participants of the Mountain Challenge on the same day.

All proceeds from the trek will support Friends of Londiani’s community development work in Kenya.

So it’s easy, choose which mountain you want to climb and you will be supported by experienced guides throughout your trip, no matter what level of experience you have!
